Great points on purchasing a stock trailer. Typically, on a used trailer sale, you can take the trailer to the nearest trailer dealer or distributor and ask for an inspection of the trailer. Typically for a nominal fee. But in the long run it will be well worth the few dollars it costs to avoid any unforeseen issues.
